Kayaking and Canoeing
Single and tandem kayaks are available for rent at multiple points around the lake. A popular route is to paddle from Kluszkowce towards Czorsztyn Castle, hugging the shoreline for about 4 km — an easy, scenic paddle that takes around 90 minutes.

Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

Czorsztyn Castle — History Meets the Lake
No visit to the lake is complete without exploring the ruins of Czorsztyn Castle, perched on a hill directly above the water. Built in the 14th century, the castle served as a border fortress between Poland and Hungary.

- The views from the tower over the lake are spectacular
Across the water you can see Niedzica Castle, which is even better preserved and hosts regular medieval festivals in summer.

Getting There from Our House
The drive takes just 15 minutes via the road through Krościenko. Free parking is available at all major beach access points, though summer weekends fill up by late morning.

- Follow signs to Czorsztyn/Niedzica
- Choose your beach: left for Czorsztyn Castle beach, straight for Kluszkowce
